with no interruptions and sit comfortably. bring your hands into gassho, the palms touching, the fingers and thumbs close together extending upwards in a prayer position, where the thumbs are held close to the centre of the chest. pause. eyes closed, take a deep inhalation slowly counting up to 6, hold for 2 seconds, then slowly exhale for 6. Lay hands palm up on the knees.

repeat for 5 minutes at first, after daily practice you’ll find yourself extending longer, focusing only on the breath.

    Mindfulness, physical and emotional wellbeing, are all synonymous with meditation. Daily practice enhances self-awareness in our surroundings, it is transformative in that we become self-transcendent, relating to or connecting with something higher. We are spirits, having a human experience.
